Note: All of these photos are hosted at DeviantArt simply because they allow for higher-resolution previews without expecting you to pay (as Flickr does). While there is nothing inherently non-work-safe about the webs site, if you are concerned about the domain with this name showing up in your employer's web logs, wait until you get home to view it.
I've spent a good deal of time going through my rail photos to find things worthy of sharing, and I thought I would share some, and invite others to post what they've taken as well.
I've found Green Street to be an especially photogenic station that has presented a good number of opportunities to snap some moderately interesting photos.

Selective-color photo of the Orange Line at Green Street. Selective color is a bit overused as a crutch, but in this case it worked.
Photo of the Outbound platform during last week's storm. I tweaked the color a bit to get something closer to the grungy, slightly desaturated look of 70s film stock to contrast with the pristine appearance of nature intruding on the dirty, mechanized environment.
Black and white version of the above shot
The Arborway platform Forest Hills looking sad and lonely. This picture really says it all.
I normally don't bother with heavy-processing of stills, but this is one exception. LRV 3485 departs Fenway on its last outbound journey.
My futuristic look at the decay of Bowdoin station. It's framed in a way that makes you think it was shot in a far different aspect ratio than it actually was. The faux-widescreen effect is due to the fact the shot is split into fourths, with varying distances between the spectator and elements of the environment. Some things are in the foreground, others in the background.
A little balance to the composition can make a simple platform sign look interesting at Back Bay.
I love taking pictures of the Southwest Corridor from Stony Brook station on the Orange Line.
