Can anyone tell me what the typical wattage on a color position light signal bulb is? I thought I read somewhere a long time ago that it was 10 watts.

Lee - I believe the "normal" CPL lamp was 18 watts at 10 volts. I base this on markings on used bulbs I'd occasionally find tossed into the weeds alongside B&O CPL's near my home many years ago.

Seems to me the bulb number was 18S11 or similar ("18" denotes the wattage and "S11" the bulb size).
