I've driven past the Richmond Hill team yard a few times over the past month or two and haven't seen anything spotted there. Is the NYA no longer serving off-line customers at the yard? Thanks.

A boxcar is sandwiched between two loaded centerbeam flatcars, as of this afternoon. This afternoon also, 261 and 156 passed by westbound with one BNSF boxcar, perhaps the one that was spotted last week at Belmont Park loaded with feed for the resident horses......

261 and 156 came by Richmond Hill Yard again early this afternoon with one CSX boxcar and four or five tankcars....

Three empty centerbeam flatcars in the yard, along with two CSX gondolas, today. Also, at about 1340 this afternoon two MP-15ac's passed by westbound with an additional five empty centerbeams. Anyone know why they didn't stop to pick up the empties in the yard? Isn't it possible there to leave the train up on the main track, get down into the yard via that switch that is just west of the yard next to Key Food, pull the empties out and up onto the main and couple them up to the other empties on the east end of that cut, and then run back around the train to continue the run west to Fresh Pond? Or would they just get picked up by an eastbound train and hauled to wherever it's going until it headed back west itself? Is someone getting charged for them sitting empty in the yard on the team track? Thanks.

Richmond Hill Team can only be accessed via No. 2 track, so it has to be done eastbound.

Empty today, but a lot of lumber over at the lumberyard on Atlantic Avenue waiting to be stacked inside. The two CSX gondolas were still there, though.

This afternoon, around 4:20 or so, I saw a new-livery MP-15ac running cab forward with ten or so gray and black gondolas westbound on the viaduct where the former Richmond Hill LIRR is located. Anybody know where this train came from? Thanks.

Possibly the gons on the siding where the freight derailed recently (full of dirty dirt), or some of the cars from Brookhaven lab.. Did you see if the cars had tarps on them?
