Tracks 10, 11, and 12 at North Station filled in...

And now the highway skeleton is finally gone from track 1 as well. That's probably the last thing anyone needs to say here.

At the risk of saying something more, was a section of the platform canopies removed at North Station to facilitate demolition of the highway, or did the canopies never extend down to the building, due to the overhanging highway?

The gap is now quite noticible when you look into the platform area from Nashua Street. Its cool to have such a good view of the station tracks now.

Some construction is happening on the platforms between the end of the current canopies and the beginning of the FleetCenter roof. An employee told me that the canopies will be extended.
