SD45 Returns from the dead on the NYS&W!

NYS&W has reactivated SD45 # 3618, and was in the SU-100 arriving in Little Ferry, NJ on Monday August 23rd. look for this to return west on SU-99 departing the evening of the 23rd. SUPPOSEDLY, another 45 will be reactivated, as the railroad is in a power crunch these days. Stay Tuned, and keep your eyes open!

Good to see they are bringing the SD-45's back. Just about every railroad has been scrapping their engines, now rail service is booming and they are bringing out some of the good old engines. Now if they can bring back the B-40-8's and F-45's in regular service in NJ, that would be great as well. Now that the SD-45's are making a come back, I have a another reason to photograph the NYS&W.
