Railfest 2007 ?

In previous years during the autumn we've visited the Three Holy Places in Pennsylvania: Altoona, Strasburg and Scranton. Twice during our visits to Altoona we took part in the Railfest weekend.
Is there to be a Railfest 2007 ?
Appreciate any information you may have.

You missed the Altoona one this year. It happened over the summer this year.

Norfolk Southern informed the organizers that they could run trains around Horseshoe Curve if they did it the weekend after July 4. So they did.

The Altoona Museum indicates that they will likely hold Railfests during July from now on....NS is more receptive to allowing the Horseshoe Curve Excursions during that time of year, plus many people are on their Summer vacations too.....Fall foliage was always a draw on the October Railfests, but dreary rainy blustery weather has also been an issue in early October too.
