The diesel locomotives a similiar to the ones we have here , except ours have co -co bogies (6 wheels each , instead of 4 )

The last set were C-C. Export GM's (or licensed builds) are pretty much everywhere. The Brazilian roads are trying re-trucked and chopped (for weight and clearance) units from the second hand US locomotive market. Be interesting to see if they continue or go back to purpose built units. BB36-7 with new B+B-B+B meter gauge trucks.

Agreed. The solo units don't have the same sound. Maybe the slugs?
