In June of 1984 I took one of the first "business trips" of my life. For some reason I'd stopped shooting slides, and these are prints.

Walked in very very hot humid weather over to Grant Street Station, where I photographed the Port Authority of Alleghany County "Shopper."

The next day, I caught a Conrail freight running through West Park on the big four track mainline.

Corrections are always welcome.

Both great shots, I love seeing pictures of the old PATrain!

The Conrail units flying by Conrail trailers is also nice.

Thanks Otto,

I remember that was a fun trip. I had a hotel room that looked out at the P&LE station. I could see trains (I think on different lines) from my room all night. I need to get back to Pittsburgh one day. It's a great RR town.
