Per an article in the 26 August 2007 issue of the Fort Collins "Coloradan":

The Colorado State Fair Express, pulled by Union Pacific 4-8-4 No. 844 operated between Denver and Pueblo on the second day of the fair. The train, which featured dome cars, a souvenir car, a diner and a dance car, carried 320 passengers. A shuttle bus service carried the passengers to the fairgrounds. The train returned to Denver at the end of the day.
