Anyone know why on Wednesday there was a manifest sitting on Track 1 between CP-15 and Pleasant Ave west of Buffalo on CSX's Lakeshore Sub. The train did not have power, but its EOT was hooked up on the east end, so it was a westbound.

I seem to recall a train departing Buffalo developed problems with the power as the hill was encountered and a unit or two shut down. This is not rare. Stopping before CP15 off X-ings is a good thing, then they can cut away and return to Frontier for different or add-on power.

I seem to remember a Q641 having trouble one day.

Yeah it had to be a Q641....I remember that day it certainly looked like a typical consist that a Q641 would have.
