Some good vintage pictures of the coal dock at Sodus Bay, the PRR line between Newark and Sodus Point, as well as some Marion Branch pictures as well.

Does anyone know where there are copies of Calroso's book availabe for viewing?

There are some great shots of the greater Rochester area in that bunch. Beware of captions and details though. Some of the PRR photos are variously labeled "Sodus Bay" and "Sodus" instead of "Sodus Point".

Also, the photo of the LV Manchester NY Repair track is reversed. The view actually is eastward along the south side of the yard - note the Texgas propane tanks, and the old LV bunkhouse, in the distance.

I didn't have time to find Ellwood's home page but if he has a method of making corrections somebody might pass them on.

There was previous discussion on this forum about the Genesee Falls Road (GFR) in Rochester. There are a couple shots of this, one showing how the trestle hugged the cliff, and the other giving just a hint of how complex the trackage in this small branch used to be.
