In which part of the nyc subway train arethe fire extinguishers kept for use in case of fire?

In the cars I have ridden I do not think there are any, but I may be missing them. After all, some people cannot be trusted with a fire extinguisher.

None on the train. Might have been once, but they are probably on someone's boat :-D

To have fire extinguishers means that personnel need to be trained how to use them. I've seen fire extinguisher in towers and in station agent booths

They were treated as toys by the vandal class. Removed from all cars years ago, probably in the 1970's.
