Hello All:
What was on the menu in a PRR Cafe Coach? You can tell I haven't had supper yet? LOL!
I remember eating in such a car on the southbound Southern Express #580 out of Erie, Pa., back in 1954.
I had a delicious Perch sandwich...chips and a Coke for $.75 wish I had eaten more often when taking the Pennsy.
I know what was served in the mainline dining cars. The PRR had an excellent reputation for good food whether it be breakfast...lunch or dining in the evening.
Any help would be appreciated.
Best,
