Looks like the "new" Weyehauser siding will be going by the wayside.
Today's New Bedford Standard-Times had an article about the facility being up for sale by Weyerhauser along with 9 other facilities. Siding
went in service September 2002.

Out here, in Oregon, Weyerhouser has been going through MAJOR downsizing, with mills being closed, and sold off, piece by piece. Six large lumber mills, where trees are turned to board, have been closed, and dismantled already. GP, the Canuks, and foreign imports, the biggest burden, to running a profitable Weyerhouser. One local road here, will lose over 60 percent of it's traffic, with the closures about to hit them. (our guys go there, when they get fired. not sure what's in store for the people on that line..... :( )
