I was just wondering if anyone lives near a layover. I happen to live near a layover that is in Pawtucket. MBTA stores some of their trains their on the weekends.

I live 40 mins from the Pawtucket Layover =(. Plus I can never go to layover cause its in the most random spot. Its off the highway, and amtrak trains go by the layover at high speeds.

Do you snap photos @ night? I saw someone taking pictures around Franklin station and then again @ Forge Park one night last week.

A layover can also be called a rail yard. They just call it a layover because they store passenger trains. Like in my videos im sure u have seen the Pawtucket Layover, where they store commuter rails

oh ok. maybe when MBTA gets to nashua, nashua yard will be a layover, but so far, i've only seen one passenger train there my 15 years of existence, and i have no idea why it was there.

I live in Darien. In Stamford the next town over there is a good sized Metro North yard whare quite a few trains are usley stored at times other than the peek houers
