Can anyone tell me what was at Glen Loch? The ROW is quite wide from Glen to west of Glen for at least 1/2 mile. Any ideas and pictures of what was there?

Mark Bej has this diagram that shows a duckunder for Trenton Cutoff traffic to access the Mainline at Glen Loch. This might date to the start of the cutoff back about 1900. This is still used by SEPTA for Frazer Shop trains to get over to the eastbound track to return to Philadelphia. In the 30’s the Whitford Flyover was built to allow a longer route onward to Thorndale and get a smoother freight grade than on the Mainline. That used the additional right of way width here on the north side.
