Why does metro give the green line most of the alstom cars. Now correct me if im wrong. Diddn't Metro give most of the caf cars to the green line. Now there giving most of the alstom cars to the green line.

They need to start caring about the other lines. Like the Red Line. :( :(

The testing and acceptance programs for both the 5k and 6k series cars were and are based out of the yards on the Green line. The testing and acceptance program for CAF/AAI cars were done out of the Greenbelt yard. The beginning of the testing and acceptance program for the Alstom cars was also out of the Greenbelt Yard but was later moved to Branch Avenue after WMATA had problems with the lifts in the shop and the contractor started the construction of the new back shop building at Greenbelt Yard.

As the number of excepted car grows and the maintenance people elsewhere are familiarized with the new cars they will start appearing elsewhere in the system.
