1960s steam locomotive index

Hi.

Im really trying to find a steam locomotive to put on my 1960s N layout.

I need an index of all the steam locos with their dates.

This is proving very hard to find

If anyone thinks they can help please post here.

Or, if you know an active steam loco from the 60s please just post the name and number etc here.

Before I suggest a steamer of any kind it would be a good idea if you told us what RR's you already have on your layout. That would narrow it down considerably.

So far I have no locos or solling stock.

I intend to get a CLASS 47 in 2 tone green (D1505)

And blue and grey BR rolling stock coaches.
