anyone know where DLWR 1804 has been hiding up till now?
I never had her listed as being in NY state in 2005.
She seems to have magically appeared in Lockport recently,
but from where?

thanks!

I'd like to know what happened to the 1800.

I saw two things..

RHSX #27 M-420TR now on the Adirondack.. See posts for pictures of it in the shop at Rome, NY.

MHWA #805 is also at rome with derailment repairs to be made. But there is Three C-425's running on the MHWA. Granted the 805 is OOS.

A couple of corrections and additions Scotty:
MAN # 2454 is now in Utica -No longer in Rotterdam
Regarding the equipment in Colonie & Glenmont(South Albany)
There are groups trying to acquire the former Albany Port Alcos, but are bogged down by a ongoing dispute on who owns the equipment.
The M&H Chapter is slowly disbanding so the equipment in Glenmont has to be disposed of in one form or another.
The FA is waiting for a inspection from CSX and or pick-up by CP. If you want,I can provide an image of the FA.

A recent issue of Railfan & Railroad had the surviving Alco locomotives in NYS as it's feature article. Great pictures and text.
