Metra F40C 607 has been found!

I was riding on a Amtrak train going from St. Louis to Chicago today. As the train entered this yard in East St. Louis, I happened to notice a Metra engine sitting in the yard. It happened to be F40C 607. Metra was painted out, but the engine still looked very clean. There was also a Utah Railway F45 sitting in the same yard, as well as several Texas Mexican engines. I'm guessing it is some kind of deadline.

I will post a picture I took of 607 in the yard as soon as I can. Its not the best photo but I didn't have much time to set up as our train was doing about 80.
