Looking thru some old pictures of NYSW stuff. I was seeing some pictures of older su99/100's going thru campgaw,nj. Is this campgaw mt in mahwah?

Also how come there isn't much CSX/NS power used much anymore? I remember seeing alot of this only a few years ago. Also seeing alot in older pics.

The Campgaw on the NYS&W is actually in Franklin Lakes. There is a small passing siding there where cars are stored and switched. Campgaw Mt. is further north nearer to Ramapo College.

The NS and CSX power used to run on the intermodal trains and autorack trains the NYS&W ran in cooperation with CSX and NS prior to the Conrail buyout / takeover. When those companies got hold of Conrail there was no need to run those trains via the NYS&W. Once the contracts ran out the intermodal and autorack trains disappeared.

Over the past few summers CSX has run trains over the NYS&W as a detour around track work on CSX's River line. When those trains run CSX engines are the power on those trains.
