Hello all,

I don't know if anybody noticed this on the STB website, but I thought I'd post it hear for all to see.

Now before everyone here starts lamenting the passing of the carfloats, remember this is a paper shuffle and name change, not a termination of service. I assume that car float service will continue. However, it is clear that the days of the Cross Harbor penny stock corporate games are over and that the publicly traded company may very well disappear soon.

In addition I'm posting here for all of us at RR.net to review, a link to a portion of the New York Regional Rail website still working. It is a link to a mandatory SEC filing which contains information regarding some of the mechanics of the proposed transactions. Hope you all enjoy.

Maybe, with this change, something will finally be done to spur a rebirth of the last remaining carfloat operation in New York. I'm sure this will bring forth comments, so let the discussion begin.

Well, that's all for now folks.

See ya all later.

(Note to moderators: Since the Cross Harbor is both a NY, and a NJ shortline, I posted this thread in both forums. Feel free to consolidate these threads if you see fit.)
