Hi,

I'm trying to track down LV 95131 caboose which became G&W 11 "The Stub Ellis" stationed in Retsof, NY.

About 12 years ago it left Retsof for parts unknown. One source has it "possibly" sold to owners in northwestern Pennsylvania.

I wonder if it went to another railroad in the G&W Industries Group?

Does any one have any idea where G&W 11 actually went?

Thanks, Roger

I'm not well versed in the wanderings of R&S equipment but I believe somewhere about the timeframe you mention, a couple of SW1200 switchers were sent from Rochester & Southern to the Louisiana & Delta, or somewhere near there. Is it possible the caboose went with them?

Hi,

Steel, bay window, SP 4613 caboose became the LDRR 1.

Thanks for the lead!

Well, it was speculated that #11 could have gone down to the LDRR... I couldn't find any info on LDRR 1 other than that it was for sale.

Why don't you just call the R&S and see if they can be of any assistance?
