Need info on heritage of MN GP8 750... thanks! (She looked good cleaned up while on Display in Danbury!)

750 is ex Conrail 7508 nee Ex-NYC 5935 she is a GP9
543 is ex Conrail 5432 nee Ex-NYC 5770 she is GP-8

Here, for those who couldn't get to Danbury this past weekend, is a picture of 750. I was told by a Metro North employee that it is the only GP-9 still owned by MNRR.

Dutch, do you know if this was just a weekend visitor, or will it be at the DRM for a while?

Only there for weekend Pierce MNCR is short of freightpower both units left Danbury at or about 4Pm sunday.

Thanks for the info, all. Nice picture, Pierce. I was also hoping that MN would forget about 750 and leave her at Danbury, but no such luck. She'll have to wait a few more years to get her lightning stripes back.
