While riding from Trenton to Philadelphia on the Northeast Corridor, I noticed a derelict E Unit in the original Amtrak scheme along the east side of the r-o-w in far North Philadelphia. Does anyone know the history and status of that unit? Is that Benett Levin's Juniata Terminal facility where it is stored? Just curious - it's alway interesting to "discover" old railroad equipment while traveling.

Yes, that is Bennett and Eric Levin's Juniata Terminal facility.

I don't know the history or status of the locomotive, but here's a photo:
