How do you know the inbound wallboard originates on CSX? There are tons of CertainTeed plants all over Canada and the US.... Saint Gobain is a massive company as well.
These cars are now moving via Mattawamkeag instead of the Moosehead.

From MP-3 to 4.5 or so, where ever CSX installed CWR is main line trackage. MP-3 is where the yard limits start.

Exactly my point. They focused their efforts where the rail was needed most to start. Not where they're either slowing down or picking up speed to enter and leave DCS. Also as I noted it's Other than Main track, not Yard Limits.

L072 was light power 7643 and an SD-23 to Mattawamkeag today, they returned through Lincoln just before dusk with 37 cars.

Facebook CSX NE + B&E Railfans photo and video posts show today's L072 went to Keag with 464 axles for live handoff to MNR. Looks like 120 cars..

From a video over the weekend, it looks like CSX took several large cuts of LPG to Mattawamkeag. Previously the only LPG business they were moving east of Waterville was for Bouchard. Not sure if this is for MNR, NBSR, or CN. But if I were to guess its LPG for Dead River, which if true would be a big loss for CPKC. I am guessing the LPG for Dead River in Hermon might still go CPKC, but I suppose CSX could interchange them right there at NMJ and just use CPKC to spot them.

I am not sure how exactly my statement was "incorrect" considering you restated what I had already been established, but you do you.

As for my previous statement, when referring to Dead River I was speaking about the LPG which goes to MNR.

I think the incorrect part was the direction the traffic was moving in. CPF66 - you stated "LPG to Mattawamkeag" (emphasis mine), implying the loads were going east to NBSR. CN9634's response was that the loads were coming from NBSR and going west.

Today's L072e had 6152/2514/7605, and 33 cars. Through Lincoln maybe an hour ago.

L071w had 8009/8873/7575/1727/5976/7643/6229 and a train of 81x15. Apparently two days' trains tacked together

Unless I am quite mistaken, the “Retired in Mattawamkeag” and later, “Retired in Northern Maine” Facebook account has been discontinued, apparently voluntarily. I saw a post a day or two ago with all previous content removed and briefly saying something to the effect that he was moving on to other things. Now, at least as far as I can determine, the account no longer exists at all. Bummer — I enjoyed his documentation of the railroad restoration and revival going on there. But I have to wonder if his lengthy walks along the tracks eventually led to any communications from CSX regarding such.

EDIT: As noted in the following post, it is the YouTube account that is deleted. I mistakenly referred to it above as Facebook.

His YouTube channel isn't showing up either.
I see him every time I am in Mattawamkeag and have met him a few times, he seems like a decent guy. If I run into him again, I will ask him what the deal is.

No question, retired in maine and pup pup did make for entertaining videos about the rail renaissance going on in Mattawamkeag. However, I am equally sure that many of us winced at watching him walking along the right of way with not a worry in his mind about any trains. I am sure that CSX police are strict believers concerning the catechism of Operation Lifesaver with regard to the illegality of trespassing on railroad rights of way.

Not wanting to have somebody constantly posting flaunting on line testaments to easy rail access with no hassles, I'm sure that somebody recently reached out to him and suggested that it would be nice if all those pup pup videos disappeared asap and further he'd be well advised to stay off rr property in the future. or words to that effect.
