0219-0410/09-02-2022 started off with both XNG noise and the X7.8 announcing he was checking train. 7 later came the no defects, and 1 later when I Xed the XNG, there was no marker visible TT W, nor would there be WBs on the the Rtes. 12/140 UGB. There would also be naught outta the speaker so far as fulfillments or other stuff associable with 426/7, so dunno.
At 0242, there was a both-sides-broken and brief FI-2/D-3 exchange, and 9 later the 333 WLs were dark.
0353 was the start of D-3 breakage that involved 312 and 1 and 2 beaing clear at San-Vel, normally 16R matters, more about whom later.
At 0304 and a bit before my seeing the 333 ELs at Stop, the 346.6 gave a no defects, 196 axles, 49º, and 4488'. Given the scratchiness of the 346.6, it was no surprise that no acknowledgment got heard. There were DS trashes sitting on 1 at the Timpany Boulevard UGB, so the 346.6 had been for a WB, possibly 11R, given recent sightings. Facing a Clear on the 345 1 WL sat dimmed and presumably tied-down NS 6959 and KCIRs 7727 and 7655 by the platform, trailed by mixed general. Normally, an NS leader would indicate a 16R, but D-3 would later give a breaking 241 to a 16R for 312. Mebbe 16Rs had gotten stacked up. Dunno. There were covered hoppers visible to the W on 4, mebbe set off by the sitting EB. 1 and 2 looked MT, mebbe lifted by the WB. The Sameolesameole Ledger entries continued to be the tie stack between the House and MART fence and -- at 0342 -- 2 covered hoppers on the W end of the RVJ stub, the EB staggers for Derby also dark.
EB and at 0312, there was Dispatcher-side hash, and 4 later, D-3 gave a breaking 241 to 16R with NS 6945 for 312, other deets lost.
The 333 WLs were dark at 0321, and further E, the EB staggers for 330 showed an Approach for 1 and Stop for 2. The 330.8 WBs, 330s, and GL WLs were at Stop, but the FG WLs showed a Limited Clear for 1 and a Stop for 2, 2 holding DS trashes from the Credit Union W.
At 0335, the FI-1/2 -- more about whom later -- parking spot was MT. Blue trash containers sat on the W end of East Side, but not quite long enough to qualify for Sameolesameole status.
At 0343, there was Yard Channel hash, and at 0354, AY-3 called out to D-3. My loss of elevation cost further receptions from AY-3, but D-3 would OK them on signal indication and then advise them to keep in mind that FI-2 would be coming down with MTs for Arrowhead. Whatever AY-3 next said got rogered, D-3 saying the there would be a cab at the appointed time at Arrowhead.

A safe holiday weekend to us all!

0225-0425/09-05-2022 started off quiet. A doe offered up a reminder to expect her kin at any time and on any surface and in any state of motion, the particulars being 0239 and Rte. 12 N at the W. Boylston/Sterling line and in both freezing and running states, the last in a mutually beneficial direction.
0251 would be when company radio silence got broken by extended Dispatcher-side hash, "That is correct" coming at the end and suggesting that D-2 had granted movement authority to somebody.
The 333 WLs were dark at 0256, Stops for the 334 ELs and darkness for the 1 WB stagger and 335s to follow.
To ongoing silence, the 345s were at Stop and the yard fairly occupied with the Extension and 1 having covered hoppers, a box, and LPGs up to Royal Steam Heater, 2 having general that included covered hoppers and coil cars, and 4 having DS containers and hoonose what else. The mains were MT at the Timpany UGB and the Wilkins Road dogleg. Ditto at 346, where the WL was dark at 0321, so mebbe an EB that hadn't yet gotten far enough E to unshunt the 345s? 6 later, the 345s were still lit, so mebbe the speedo was back or there was relay trouble. And yes, the tie stack was still there.
Hedzup -- There was a Rte. 2 E message board advising there would be 1 lane 0900-1700, so paving the milled stretch will be starting.
At 0336, the 333 WLs were dark, and further E, the EB staggers for 330 were at Approach, all else upto and including the FG WLs dark.
There had been Dispatcher-side hash starting at 0342 that eventually resolved into car countdowns, a mebbe-FI-2 with NewBlue 5963 on the W end of covered hoppers at 0350 and blue containers on the W end of East Side. Car countdowns would continue while I was in range, and at 0357, the EB staggers for Derby were dark, 2 covered hoppers on the W end of the RVJ stub, naught else heard as of the 0425 end of listening, including 426/7 and AY-3.

0220-0410/09-07-2022 was a period bookended -- as will be seen -- by FI-2. At 0226, D-3 answered FI-2 and repeated the same the same minute. Up through 02238, there would be a total of 7 more D-3 attempts to convo with FI-2. At 0242, FI-2 would reach out to D-3 on Channel 1, and 1 later, D-3 would again answer FI-2, Mount Wachusett's bulk now turning D-3 into hash.
At 0251, the 333 WLs were dark and just a bit later, a breaking D-3 would reach out to FI-2 x2, Fi-2 's response now hash to me and D-3 saying they should call him on the phone.
The 334 ELs were at Stop and the the 1 WB stagger and 335s dark. At 0302, there would be brief Dispatcher-side hash, the start of prolonged radio silence, at least for me.
Up Da Hill. the 345s were dark, the yard MT, and the tie stack still there.
At 0318, the 333 WLs were dark and further east, the EB staggers for 330 at Approach and the 330.8 WBs dark. At 0325 Boston West hash proved the scanner was still working, and next, the 330s and GL WLs were also dark.
The FG WLs, however, were at Stop, no shunters visible E or W. The FG ELs were dark, and at 0332, the FI-1/2 parking spot was MT, but blue DS containers were on the W end of East Side.
At 0339, the EB staggers for Derby were dark, 2 covered hoppers sat on the W end of the RVJ stub, and D-3 answered the Grain Train. They were OK into the yard at MP X25, and it would be the Thorofare tonite.
0407 was the start of D-3's 241 to FI-2 with the 5963 on 2 at CPF WL W on 1 towards CPF AY, a hedzup added about a track light at Spagna {?). No probs this time with the convo, so the earlier difficulties mighta been caused by FI-2's temporary location.
You know the ones who haven't been mentioned, and that's only because naught came outta the speaker during listening.

0224-0435/09-09-2022 started off with the X7.8 announcing no defects and M426 acknowledging same. 0239 was when a breaking -- thanks yet again, Mount Wachusett -- D-3 said something to M426 about "signal." Dunno if it was the the 15-earlier 426 or if there was another 1 stacked up to the E. To save suspense, naught further would be heard to, from or about 426, the same for 427.
At 0253, FI-2 called out to D-3, no response heard by me, so mebbe D-3 put in a signal. 4 later, the 333 WLs were dark, Stops for the 334 ELs and darkness for the 1 WB stagger and 335s following, along with a spell of radio silence, although at 0406, P&W Road and Boston West hash would prove the scanner was working.
Up Da Hill, the 345 Els were at Stop, a Clear of the 1 WL. There was IM standing on 2 from the Pratt yard W, and the yard was MT. The Sameolesameole Ledger entries would be the ties stacked between the House and Mart fence, the blue containers on the W end of East side at 0355, and 2 covered hoppers on the W end of the RVJ stub 6 later.
A trip W showed more IM at the Wilkins Road dogleg, but the 346.6 came on at 0317, so it was back to the Jade. D-3 answered FI-2 at 0320, rogering whatever next got said, and the 346.6 gave a no defects, 386 total axles, 49º, and 6547' at 0321, NSs 6958, 9648, and 8013 getting their train onto the Single at 0326. There were 20 DS trashes on the pin, so guessing an OX set-off. Next came 42 general, a few boxes, but mostlty alternating cuts of US Gypsum sheetrock centerbeams and tanks, any placards blocked by the Jade embankment. Then came a mix of 19 single-high and DS C&D containers, followed by 11 racks. Probably a 16R, but never heard.
EB, there was Dispatcher-side hash at 0330 and a couple later.
The 333 WLs were all at Stop at 0337, a wait allowing hearing some noise to the W, but not to the E. The 333 ELs were blocked by foliage, so dunno about a possible EB, although in a few, the EB staggers fror 330 would be at Approach, all else up to and including the EB staggers for Derby dark, 0355 being when the FI-1/2 parking spot had been MT.
There would be sporadic hash, too short to see the source, and 0428 "AY-3" would emerge from some hash.
0430 was when D-3 called out to the EGT, a brief period of hash following, but naught else by the end of the 0435 end of listening.
 #1606412  by jaymac

0225-0420/09-12-2022 would be generally quiet, AY-3 serving as the bookends, that quiet lasting until 0240 when D-3 answered AY-3, rogered what they said, and OKd them on signal indication at 312, adding a "One more time?" If there were any further immediate developments, they didn't get to me. At 0246, there'd be -- thanks as always, Mount Wachusett -- a broken-to-me 241 to AY-3, all other deets lost.
The 333 WLs were dark at 0253, Stops for the 334 ELs and darkness for the 1 WB stagger and 335s following to ongoing radio silence.
Up Da Hill, the 345s were dark and 4 had general -- a high-side scrap gon plus a mix of tented and wrapped centerbeams, covered hoppers and a coil car between the W end of the MART garage and mebbe the ambulance company. Tie stack? Yep.
The 333 WLs were dark at 0325, and further E, the EB staggers for 330 were at Approach. Post refueling stop, all from the 330.8 WBs up to and including the FG WLs were dark.
OT: The Cleghorn Cumby's was $3.45 nonmember regular, and Main Street was $3.77 for the same a few later.
At 0344, the FI11/2 parking spot was MT, and blue containers were on the W end of East Side. 5 later, the RVJ lot was active, so no view of the EB staggers for Derby, but 2 covered hoppers were still on the W end of the stub.
Radio silence got broken at 0357 by Road-side hash, but the 0358 Dispatcher-side garble was from D-2, the subject being stopping at Rockingham or Dover.
At 0415, D-3 called out to AY-3, saying he wanted to doublecheck that they wouldn't be going to the Thorofare, that and Track 11 being the running tracks for 426 and 427, D-3 next rogering that it would be Track 10. 2 later came "AY-3?", a roger to follow and silence following that until the 0420 end of listening.
Naught else came outta the speaker about 426 or 427, but at 0115, 0126, 0135, and 0147, there had been XNG noises, the changes in volume suggesting a WB from X7.8 to New Bond and not the EB more expectable for that time of the ayem.
 #1606553  by jaymac

0217-0405/09-14-2022 started off with X7.8 XNG noise followed by the talker announcing he was checking train, the XNG noise preceded at 0205 by what had been X6.0 noise. D-3's 0221 call-out to somebody got stepped on by a no defects from the talker, any acknowledgement being superseded by D-3 advising that blue flags were up and that whoever should continue to Spagna, also making it seem like Friday the 13th had come on Wednesday the 14th. Naught further on that matter would get to me. At 0227 and while I was passing under it, tanks were passing over the Rtes. 12/140 UGB, so it was 426 and not another rail or grain train. Naught further was heard to, from, or about 426, 427 being a different matter, as will be seen.
At 0235 and 0245, there were brief spurts of Dispatcher-side hash, no responses getting to me. 0249 was when the 333 WLs were dark, and 3 later there was noise on Boston West, possibly spurious.
The 334 ELs were at Stop and the 1 WB stagger and 335s dark, more brief Dispatcher-side hash coming arc 0259.
Up Da Hill, the 345s were dark, 4 in the yard having covered hoppers, a solo NS gon, and tanks -- at least some LPGs -- from the E FP to mebbe the ambulance company. The tie stack hadn't gone anywhere.
The 333 WLs were dark at 0320, and further E, the EB staggers for 330 were at Approach. All other signals up to and including the EB staggers for Derby -- at 0340 with 2 covered hoppers on the W end of the RVJ stub -- were dark.
At 0334, the FI-1/2 parking spot had been MT, blue containers on the W end of East Side, and my own radio silence had gotten broken at 0337. In a normally clear spot, a breaking D-3 called out once to 427 (seven), no further developments getting to me.
0349, 0358, and 0359 would provide proof of scanner function in the form of P&W Road, AMTK, and NECR hash, but naught company would get to me by the 0405 end of listening.

Edited for update -- XNG noise -- X7.8 at 0650 and X6.0 at 0700 -- for possible M427. None else as of 0715, but could have been masked by traffic on Rte. 140 and aircraft.

0220-0405/09-16-2022 started off with Road-side hash followed by D-3 answering M426, meaning that the 0050 X7.8 XNG noise I'd heard was theirs. D-3 rogered whatever 426 said, asking that after they swapped to get the fuel readings from M427.
0221 was when then was Yard Channel hash, that followed in 4 by D-3 garble involving both 16R and 264, advising whomever -- 427? -- the recipient was that "they" would be by them quickly cuz they already had the signal.
0243 would be the start for me of occasional Channel 1 hash involving card countdowns, FI-2 -- more about whom later -- the possible source.
At 0252, the 333 WLs were dark and D-2 called out to TC 1423, naught further to be heard by me. Radio silence settled in, and the 334 ELs were at Stop and the 1 WB stagger and 335s dark.
Up Da Hill, the 345s were dark, and D-3 started a surprisingly broken talk with M427. 426's Form D would be fulfilled at 0307, and Form D G301 would be issued -- power deets hashed -- with a Line 2 for MP X25 to Burncoat and a Line 12 for Prescott Street and Gates Road, those mileages hashed. The time effective was 0309, and the update repetition was ?? x 61 with a tonnage of 3180. The length was asked for again, rogered without repetition. A duel between D-3 and public safety started at 0311, a roger to M427 escaping, and whatever the 0312 convo with AY-3 was, it was another casualty of the duel.
The yard? MT, so both 16R and 256 had done no set-offs. The Sameolesameole Ledger continued to contain the tie stack between the House and Mart fence, the blue containers on the W end of East Side, and 2 covered hoppers on the W end end of the RVJ stub.
At 0321, the 333 WLs were dark, and further E, the EB staggers for 330 were at Approach. All other signals between the 330.8 WBs up to and including the EB staggers for Derby at 0341 were dark.
At 0327, not 264, but a self-IDd 22K had begun a series of car countdowns that -- distance and topography permitting -- would be the sole clear receptions for the balance of the trip. 16R was a nonpresence. 0335 was when NewBlue 5963 had been sitting in the FI-1/2 parking spot.

Edited for XNG noise update-- X7.8 at 0524 and X6.0 at 0636.
 #1606874  by jaymac

0220-0415/09-19-2022 started off slow, naught until 0235's Road-side hash that got neither response no repetition, a theme -- as will be seen -- for the trip. 8 later, the brief hash was now on Yard Channel.
At 0252, the 333 WLs were dark, Stops for the 334 ELs and darkness for the 1 WB stagger and 335s following to the tune of radio silence until 0303 when D-3 OKd AY-3 on signal indication at 312.
Up Da Hill, the 345s were dark. 2 and 4 were pretty much FP-FP, mostly with covered hoppers 2 having a coupla unplacarded tanks and 3 NS carriers with either rail or structural steel. At 0311, D-3 went back to AY-3, giving the 7622 a 241 for the Single at CPF 312 W to 2. To save suspense, this would be the last to exit the speaker to, from, or about AY-3. Ties still there? You bet.
The trip EB was quiet until 0317 Yard-Channel hash, and at 0322, thr 333 WLs were dark. Further E, the EB staggers for 330 were at Approach, but all other signals up to and including the EB staggers for Derby at 0342 were dark.
At 0336, NewBlue 5963 was shoving E on West Side and the W end of East Side looked MT. There would be increasingly broken car countdowns, so probably FI-2's, and 2 covered hoppers still sat on the W end of the RVJ stub.
At 0346, D-3 and M426 engaged in a mutal garblefest, MP X25 being the probable subject. The 0138 and 0148 XNG noise I'd heard inside my home had to have been from 426. Next, 426 garbled out to somebody -- probably 16R given later receptions -- advising that 426 was up to MP X 25 and asking to be advised when the other would be ready for 426. There was a pause followed by a roger.
0354 was when there was garble followed by D-3 OKing 16R -- the probable source of at least some cars at Gardner -- on signal indication. 5 later and in less favorable position came D-3's broken 241 to 16R for "W to 2 at CPF AY," all other deets lost. At 0409, there was a partial "3-step, 42(probably6)."
Providing the thematic coda at 0419, 16 R called out to D-3, the final 5 of listening producing neither response nor repetition.
 #1607007  by jaymac

0220-0415/09-21-2022 started at the start with D-3 calling out to 11R, hash on Yard Channel to follow in 2. At 0225, D-3 renewed the call to 11R, evidently getting a response cuz he asked about getting back to the head end. D-3 said the last part of the response was broken up and then rogered whatever the repeat was.
At 0240, D-3 called out to 16(six)R asking them to let him know when they were stopped at WL so he could give them a 241 past the signal.
At 0243, X6951 W called D-3 and asked if they could head W, getting an OK. At 0245 and again at 0247, both 16R with NS 6971 and FI-2 called out to D-3, nothing getting to me until a 0255 Mount-Wachusett-hashed D-3, mebbe 16R's 241.
At 0253, the 333 WLs were dark, and the 334 ELs would be at Stop and the 1 WB stagger dark. Now came a reminder to maintain situational awareness as not just 1 but 2 SB skunks crossed Fifth Mass. Tpk. in the rain. Expect et c,
the 335s were dark, and except for 2 hashlets, the WB trip was quiet until 0307 public safety encroachments.
The 345s were dark, and the yard MT. The tie stack looked a bit disrupted, dunno if cuzza the regulator and tamper now on the House.
Things EB were quiet until 0321 when 11R garbled something to D-3 about MP 336. 3 later, a clearer 11R -- now self-IDd as X6951 -- said something about PTC trouble, asking if they could cut it out. D-3 advised that they would have to call the EDFLD maintainer to do that, 11R responding that they'd just sit there, and D-3 then suggesting they try the PTSO switch.
At 0326, the 333 WLs were dark, and further E, the EB staggers for 330 at Approach, all other signal up to and including the GL WLs dark.
At 0335, D-3 called 11R, asking if they were still stopped or did the PTSO switch work, rogering the response. Then FI-2 reached out to D-3, saying they were looking to go down to Bway with loads, Bway being on the left on 1 track. Google showed Bway to be at 106 Industrial Road, right by Derby, so probably an acquisition rebranding.
A few later, FI-2 with NewBlue 5963 plus covered hoppers was sitting on the 2 and facing Stops on the FG WLs, 0344 being when the FI-1/2 parking spot was understandably MT, the W end of East Side also MT.
Didn't hear any further FI-2/D-3 convos, but at 0349, the EB staggers for Derby were dark, 2 covered hoppers still on the W end of the RVJ stub.
Except for a few short hashes, the rest of the trip was quiet.

Edited to fix an omission --Naught to, from. or about M426 or M427, not even XNG noise, the latter between 0100 and 0220 and 0415 and 0755

0215-0415/09-23-2022 started off slow, with only a few brief spurts of hash. ~0230, a breaking POED reached out to D-3. The cab signal had gone to Restricting at WL, but went back to Clear about 500' E of Sandy Pond. The holes in POED's reception filled in by D-3's repetition. D-3 added that they be picking up the 5966 off some track on Wiest Side. 0247 was when D-3 gave FI-2 with the aforementioned 5966 permission to reverse direction from where they stood and proceed W to CPF AY.
The 333 WLs were dark at 0248, and 3 later, there was brief Road-side hash.. The 334 ELs were at Stop and the 1 WB stagger and 335s dark to ongoing radio silence.
Up Da Hill, the 345s were dark and the yard MT. At 0306, D-3 garbled something about POED and FI-2 coming W to somebody -- possibly 264, as will be seen. The Sameolesameole Ledger entries would include the regulator and tamper on the House, the slightly diminished tie stack between the House and the MART fence, and -- at 0351 -- 2 covered hoppers on the RVJ stb, the EB staggers for Derby being dark.
EB and at 0311 came D-3's 1 E at CPF WL to 1 FM 241 for AY-3 with the 7573. 7 later, the 333 WLs were dark. Further E, the the EB staggers for 330 showed an Approach for 1 and a Stop for 2.
Post refueling stop -- $3.27 nonmember for the Cleghorn Cumby's and $3.50 nonmember at the Main Street/Rte.13 Cumby's -- the 330.8 WBs were dark, but the 330s and GL and FG WLs all at Stop. 264's marker was on the 2 near the W end of the platform, and the power was W of the gym by the substation embankment.
There had been 0336 garble that cleared up to POED doing their dance, and at 0343, KCIRs 7609 and 7835 were shoving E on West Side, KCIR 5966 sitting dark and solo just to the S.
1 later, D-3 rogered M426 and OKd them onto the property, advising that there'd be a crew waiting for them at New Bond and next asking if they didn't have a 400 engine with access to PTC equipment. Whatever got said was rogered, but not repeated. To save suspense, naught further -- including a Form D -- got heard to, from, or about M425, " 427. Additionally no X6.0/X7.8 XNG noise as of the 0525 posting.
0408 was when D-3 called out to 16R, saying they'd get their light as soon as AY-3 cleared, and then called out to POED. The POED call was repeated at 0409, D-3 saying he was checking if they were getting back onto their train and then asking if they'd clear FG. The question about FG got repeated, but naught further. -- including a roger -- came outta the speaker, 400 soon to be a factor.

Thanks for the fuel report Jay. I've found that the Unified station at Kimball and Rollstone is usually a little cheaper, but probably not open 7/24.
 #1607312  by jaymac

0220-0431/09-26-2022 started off slow, only sparse random hash until 0233 when the X7.8 talker -- still sel;f-IDd as "B&M Detector" -- came on. That was followed by a both-sides-garbled D-3/FI-2 exchange giving the 5966 permission to do something. At 0246, there was more D-3 garble, and if there had been an X7.8 no defects and acknowledgment, they didn't get to me.
At 0253, the 333 WLs were at Stop, dark KCIRs 7595, 7541, and 7643 having complied a bit W on 1. The 334s were all at Stop, the slurries suggesting an EDPO, indirect confirmation to come. The 335 ELs were at Stop, as was the CS WL, but the Single WL at Medium Clear. A wait of a few minutes was invested, producing sounds only of D-2 telling LA-2 at 0304 to call him when they got stopped by the light at Meadowcroft Street and then at 0307 giving the 5933 a 2 E to 1 at Meadowcroft 241. No power noise to the W, I got WB.
Up Da Hill, the 345s were dark and the yard crammed. From the W end of Chair City Oil W, 1 had a mix of covered hoppers, coil cars, and whatever else. From the E FP, 2 had shortie and regular covered hoppers, tanks, and gaps allowed a view of at least a few covered hoppers on the 4. If all was P&W bound, my condolences to the WOGR/GRWO. crew. Regulator, tamper, and ties as before.
EB was quiet, but a Clear showed on the 333 2 WL at 0332, dropped the next minute by 264 with 3 NSs, a 6900 in the lead, but no other deets. the mix of mostly-occupied tables and wells E at 0335, the presumed EDPO still in place.
Further, the EB staggers for 330 showed an Approach for 1 and -- no surprise -- a Stop for 2. The 330.8 WBs showed a Clear for 1 and a Stop for 2.
There had been a D-3/264 convo that started at 0343, D-3 saying they should stop at FG and 264 wondering if they could pull down to the tower, they being short enough. D-3 advised that 16R was working the yard and that there were racks on the Main and that there would be a passenger train.
The 330s were all at Stop, 264 slowing for their appointed FG stop. The GL WLs had been dark, but the FG WLs were at Stop, 264 doing that and going dim at 0350, far enough W of the gym so that power deets were again lost. 0354 was when the FI-1/2 parking spot and W end of East Side were MT, and 1 later, a both-sides-breaking D-3/AY-3 exchange ended in a roger.
At 0400, the EB staggers for Derby were dark, and the RVJ stub covered hopper count was now 1, a new tag-free 1. 0402 was when D-2 241d AY-3 with the 7575 from the Single W at CPF 312 to 2.
At 0406, there was Dispatcher-side hash, and 2 later, D-3 answered 16R, next telling them to stand by a minute. For the next few, I was blocked from the Paxton antenna by Mount Wachusett, and naught further to, from, or about 16R got to me.
At 0418, 0422, 0426, and 0431, D-3 called out to M426, the repetitions suggesting no interim response. I got tired of waiting, so I went where D-3 already was -- inside.

0220-0415/09-28-2022 started off with PW Road hash at 0223, things quiet until 0240 when D-3 issued time-effective 0242 Form D G302 to CSXT 487 with a Line 2 for Burncoat to MP X25 with a Line 12 for Temple Street, MP X7.80,
At 0244, a now-less-clear D-3 called out once to TC ?46 and 2 later called out to M427(seven), telling them to let him know when they were stopped at 312 for a 241.
At 0253, the 333 WLs were at Stop, and 4 later D-3 garbled with only "241" and "312" being clear. The 334 ELs were at Stop and the 1 WB stagger and 335s dark, there having been a small spell of Yard Channel noise at 0256.
Up Da Hill, the 345s were at Stop, 264 with NSs 6942, 1219, and 7619 sitting on 2 with tables and wells however far W of the Timpany Boulevard UGB. At 0308, FI-2 called out to D-3 and got a stand by. D-3 next 241d 16R with NS 6959 ! W to 2 at CPF AY. D-3 then 241d FI-2 with NewBlue 5966 from the Single W to 2 at CPF 345 and back to their train, 264 becoming their train when they locked knuckles. Never expected to see that. There was a covered hopper visible by the computer company between FI-2/264 gaps, and regulator, tamper, and ties were as before. At 0311, the 345 2 WL had gone to Medium Clear, and naught further between Fi-2 and D-3 got heard, so mebbe they left on signal indication.
0311 was the same time D-3 told 427 something broken about IM-3 and no pickups. Never heard their Form D, but my condolences to the C for surely getting a Temple Street Line 12 that would have to be executed during rush hour.
At 0328, the 333 WLs were dark, and further E, the EB staggers for 330 were at Approach. All other signals from the 330.8 WBs up to and including the EB staggers for Derby at 0346 were dark, 1 covered hopper on the W end of the RVJ stub,
At 0340, Boston West had let me know the scanner was still working, and 1 later, there had been MTness at both the FI-1/2 parking spot -- natch -- and the W end of East Side.
0356 produced AMTK hash followed by D-3 advising AY-3 that 16R was at San-Vel, so they'd have to shove back to AY. 0408 was when there was PW Yard hash, that followed in 2 by D-3 asking AY-3 to let him know when they were ready, the 241 being from 1 at CPF WL E to 1 FM.
When I was about to get outta my car at 0415, there was XNG noise -- Burncoat? -- followed by M426 advising D-3 they were into his territory. There was more XNG noise at 0426, but no more got to me as of posting time.

0223-0420/09-30-2022 started off with Road-side hash that got no D-3 response, so it was likely unconnected to the 0203 nearby XNG noise I'd heard inside Château-jaymaque, but mebbe was from any of a possible slew of candidates that would emerge, 1 coming at 0227 when D-3 answered FI-2. rogered them, and then gave an OK on signal indication.
AMTK, CSX, and PW Road would each contribute to the hashfest, but it was back to Road-side at 0245.
At 0255, the 333 WLs were dark, and 2 later, Road-side hash returned. The 334 ELs would be at Stop and the 1 WB stagger and 335s dark.
At 0306, D-3 answered AY-3, 241ing the 7523 from the Single at 312 W to the 2, adding they should give him a call when they got to WL, a Foreman having that on local control.
Up Da Hill, the 345s were all at Stop, 264 having done that again on the 2 with dark NSs 6952, 8028, and 9487 across from the old platform plus tables and wells however far W of the Timpany Boulevard UGB, The Sameolesameole Ledger entries would continue to be the regulator and tamper on the House and the tie stack between the House and MART fence plus -- at 0354 -- 1 covered hopper on the W end of the RVJ stub, the EB staggers for Derby being dark. The 264 gaps showed covered hoppers and at least 1 LPG on 4.
In a display of the variabilities of reception, at 0314 and while I was by Chair City Oil, D-3 told AY-3 to hold a couple cuz the issue at WL mighta been fixed. 3 later and ~100 yards E in the lower lot, D-3's convo with 11R was a mix of hash and garble. Presumably the Paxton antenna was the source of both transmissions.
There had been a coupla public safety encroachments, but the EB trip was generally quiet. At 0329, the 333 WLs were dark, and further E, the EB staggers for 330 were at Approach. All signals from the 330.8 WBs upto and including the GK WLs were dark.
An intermittent mix of Yard Channel and Road-side hash had started at 0347. The FG WLs were at Stop, general on 2 from the gym however far E past the FG ELs, the FI-1/2 parking spot and W end of East Side being obscured at 0349.
At 0401, there would be "427(seven), about 8 to go," the countdown ending at 0402 with a "Far enough, 3-step." 0403 produced a broken AY-3/D-3 exchange. "West Main Street again?" being clear. 1 later, FI-2 with the 5966 would get permission to reverse direction from where they stood and go from the E end of 2 to CPF AY, that followed at 0406 by a broken D- exchange with EDPO, mebbe the source of the cars either side of FG.
There would be a few more hashes until the 0420 end of listening.

Edited to add omitted Cumby's nonmember regular gas report -- Cleghorn $3.17, Main Street $3.47.
Back OT -- No X7.8 noise for 427 as of 0725.

0225-0420/10-03-2022 was quiet until brief Dispatcher-side hash at 0231, silence resuming. The SW corner of the X7.8 XNG had an R.J. Corman dump and a bucketed loader plus a few upended road signs. There had been an upended road sign at the Rtes. 140/70 intersection to the S, so guessing there mebbe might gonna be a detour. To the N on Rte. 12 at the Prescott Street intersection, there was a "ROAD CLOSED AHEAD" sign, so guessing the Prescott Street XNG was getting attention.
At 0246, FI-2 -- more about whom later --- called out to D-3, saying -- now in garble mode -- something about OX.
0256 was when the 333 WLs were dark, followed by Stops on the 334 ELs and darkness on the 1 WB stagger and 335s, all to radio silence that would no be broken until 0305 AMTK hash.
Up Da Hill. the 345s were dark. From the E FP to the Pratt yard. 2 had lotsa covered hoppers, shorties included, with a tented USG sheetrock centerbeam, BBSF box, Brand X scrap gons, a coil car and a coupla unplacarded tanks for variety. The E end of 4 had a few more covered hoppers, naught else visible through the gaps to the W. At 0316, D-3 called out to AY-3 -- more about whom later -- to ask if they were lined and locked normal and rogering the response. No changes in the regulator, tamper, and ties grouping.
The EB trip was quiet until CSX hash at 0323, and 6 later, the 333 WLs were dark. Approaches were on the EB staggers for 330, darkness for all else up to and including the FG WLs, 0343 being when the FI-1/2 parking spot and W end of East Side were MT.
At 0346, FI-2 called out to D-3, saying they wanted to E down to Ayer and do their runaround between the Willows and AY. The 0349 view from the RVJ yard was a bit puzzling, a Clear showed on the 1 stagger for Derby, but the view of the 2 was obscured, mebbe by a shifted branch. NewBkue 5966 and their DS wells were E by 0350, and no, the covered hopper on the W end of the stub was am obstruction.
There were spells of unattributable hash on Yard Channel, with a clear "OK ahead, AY-3" at 0402, More occasional hash would follow, but at 0418 came a series of AT-3 car countdowns that probably ended after the 0420 end of listening.
M426/7? Naught -- not even XNG noise as of 0510 -- heard.
