There is MOW activity north (timetable east) of the Miller Rd crossing. Looks like tie work is being done. I spotted it while en route to and coming back form the BJ's in Howell.

Yeah they were going north for the last 2-3 weeks now I guess they are going south.

Speaking of going south…

For the love of god, please put ties in on the bridge just south of Squankum road. A lot of ties.

I still don’t know how they haven’t nosedived off that bridge yet. The track there is horrible!!

Nice picture Forest.

JB-1 today has a car for Builders General, a car for EH Allen, and a car for either Prestone or Cary.

What’s weird is that they have an empty centerbeam and empty bulkhead flat car on the train as well…

The empty cars on todays train were supposed to be picked up by Conrail last week, as it turns out.

But then…why did JB-1 bring them alllll the way down to Freehold………

Has there been any work at all on Farmingdale to Freehold besides the thing with the pipes on Adelphia Road?
I’ve been hearing NJT is getting upset about twice a week freight between Red Bank and South Amboy. (Shocking I know)
