Update 9/17 MOW crew surfacing track 2 between Wagon Wheel crossing and CPF 312. At about 15:00 hours NS 6953 9654 9647 and 7564 headed light engine east from CPF-309 toward CPF 307 on Track 1. Autoracks and empty rail cars on Track 2 at east end of Track 2. I didn't have my scanner so don't know what they are doing.

Per seemingly standard practice these days on 1/12/2022 1500 hrs one MEC engine 7635 tied on to empty racks facing WB at CPF 309 Graniteville.

OK I'm pulling my hair out because I have been suddenly locked out from Railroad.net under my former user name (neman2 )because of this message that suddenly appeared ----" You exceeded the maximum allowed number of login attempts. In addition to your username and password you now also have to pass the CAPTCHA test." However the reCaptcha image does not appear correctly on my computer (Windows 10) . I attempted to post this help message under "site issues and improvements" but there does not appear to be a way for me to post a message in that thread!!!! Can a moderator help me out here????

Please clear your cache and try again. We had a php error that was causing that but clearing your cache should resolve it.

Tried that didn't work. Searched the internet found all sorts of things such as enable and disable plug-ins, VPN or proxy service interrupting, etc. etc. Bottom line.I will just change my username it's not a big deal.

BandA thanks for your suggestions I'll try later. Back on topic I heard on the scanner today at 1600 hours 22K at CPF-309 looking to wye their power at NC. D2 said he couldn't do that because they would be blocked on the return trip at Graniteville by a tied down POAY and POED. I don't know why 22K would be in Westford, maybe it was combined with ED-8?

22K with racks on the tail had been holding at the Fitchburg platform either side of 0400/02-16. The leader was a 6900, but the 3rd unit wasn't, meaning after the racks went to San-Vel, the power would have to wye at NC for PTC.

Mebbe another another reason -- Wachusett-Littleton bustitution for PTC from 02-14 through 02-18 woulda given a really big window.

M426 led by CSX 477 and 2 other GE through Westford at 10:20 am had about 25 CSX loaded stone cars in the train.

M427 seen departing CPF-307 Westford today 11:40 with CSX 466, MP15 AC 1175 and MP15T 1225 with about 60-70 cars. Because 1175 had its stacks covered with buckets it obviously wasn't running, I assume 1225 was the same.

My comments-
1) unusual to see this train with only one working engine.

2) I have noticed via recent visual observations and radio receptions that M427 drops "Ayers" (such as Poland Water Eimskips ) at Graniteville then picks up "Barbers" at Ayer. Doesn't make sense to me but there may be a capacity problem at the Hill Yard?

3) In a video from "Stony Brook Railroad Vids" M427 stopped at the North Chelmsford Wye today to pick up one boxcar. Seems unusual but again I don't know all the facts. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fHg3KF7 ... WL&index=4
