The building is owned by the New York City MTA. If you go to YouTube and search "Grand Central Terminal" you'll find many great videos on it. I suggest a YouTuber named "Action Kid". He does walking tours of NYC and has done several videos on Grand Central Terminal.
Yes, I can assure you that GCT is still there, the cabbies waiting outside are still the same reckless drivers as ever, and homeless people still take sponge baths in the lavatories....
