Station tracks in Springfield, MA during its heyday

Watching the Virtual Railfan camera, I was wondering how many tracks were in Springfield during its heyday. I couldn't find any decent maps and the old topos were so low res that my eyes glazed over trying to count track lines.

Presently, the layout from North to South seems to be:
[Historic Station]
(empty space)
Track 3 (disconnected at both ends, was a temporary addition to bypass Main 1 during station rehab, or so I was told)
[Platform A]
Main 1
Main 2--usually used by LSL
[Platform B]
Track 2A
Track 4
[Platform C - rebuilt high level]
Track 6
Track 8
[Platform D]

To a novice, it looks like there was enough room for a Track 5 north of Track 3 and maybe one or two tracks possibly stub ended, possibly for "express" (REA) south of Track 8.

What was the actual layout, track count, track numbering, etc.???

Here's a historic track chart of Springfield Union Station that I came across a few years ago. Not sure how old it is but maybe someone on this forum knows.
