Doesn't seem like anyone else is either.

SA-31 approaching Maxwell Rd in Eatontown at 4:15 in the pm. CSX 6159, CSX 4421 with 12 lumber and a tank this week...

Did the tank have a red sign with 1170 on it? That means it’s carrying ethanol.

They used to get crude oil too but haven’t gotten any tank cars of crude oil in over a year now...

@R&DB That reminds me. My friend once told me about a customer that used to be down here in the 60s-70s. I think it was called Agway and it was either in Lakewood or Whitesville. It used very thin rail (50 lbs or less) and could only take the weight of one Alco RS3 and three hopper cars. Anything heavier risked breaking the track!
Agway was in Lakewood on County line Rd. Their siding was parallel to the Sou.Sec. on the East side of the main. They lasted until about 1990 and I shopped there several times in the 80s when we lived on Maxim Rd.
As I kid, I remember seeing a Conrail train stopped there once. We were heading west on County Line Road and the train was pointed toward Lakehurst. Don't remember the number, but probably a GP38 or GP38-2. Only time I recall seeing a train there in all the times over that crossing heading to/from Lakehurst.

@OCtrainguy You ever see some of the power we had down here in the 90s? Conrail used literally anything for power on the Southern back then! A friend of mine once caught Conrail 7510 at County Line in a blizzard. There was also one time where 5074 came down and that engine had some sort of logo on the front about government labor or something.

SA93 is likely gonna go back Sunday afternoon and drop off the tank at Bel Ray. There might be a car to take out of Marjam but I’m not sure yet as I haven’t been out.

SA93 never shows up at the same time but I believe they usually show up at the train (wherever it may be parked) between 10 AM and 2 PM.

Train is currently sitting at Woodhaven. No crew in sight, 4421 is in front with 6159 behind it. 4421 smells like roach droppings (no joke) and 6159 is leaking fluid of some sort. I assume it’s diesel judging by the smell.

I’ll hang around for an hour or so but if they don’t leave by then I’ll be finding another train to chase lol.

SA93 is still not here yet as of 1:30

Tired of waiting so I’m heading off to find another train to chase.

If they go back today it probably won’t be until later.

I’m assuming the train never went back? Had a friend in Lakewood inform me that there still there yesterday at dusk with no crew.

I only saw the train stopped at Agway in Lakewood once. I caught the tail end of a move on the Glidden spur once, and once on the Toms River branch at Manchester, so not a lot of luck on my side as a kid going to/from my grandmother's.
