Its 1946, and that is my mom and dad on the right side together. He was the agent at Medford. Check "Steel Rails to the Sunrise", page 261.

Not Tunnel Rd, but Medford Ave with the numerous hits on the girders over the years.
Should be today's Old Medford Ave with the bridge replaced not too far back last 20 years or so? Rt 112 turns into Medford Ave more south past Woodside Ave. North Ocean would be the next overhead bridge west on the Medford/Holtsville border. I would have to look up what was considered Tunnel Rd back then.
