Morris Park Facilitiy Locations

Jamaica Storage Yard is numbered 1-17 South to North (no track 11). 1-8 are used by Transportation. Tracks 9-17 are considered MofE (Maintenance of Equipment) tracks.

Tracks 10-13 are for the locomotive shop.
Tracks 14-17 are for the sheridan shops. I've mostly seen the C3 coaches here, but I have seen locomotives there as well.

Time for someone to draw an updated track map of Morris Park. Here is the latest Google Earth view from Jan 24, 2021

I reworked the updated Google map with the corrected track numbering 1-17.


Can other location facilities be identified? Thank you.

Now that its zoomed out a little bit, I have a correction.

Right below 92nd Ave, where it says "Yard Crew Facilities", that's where the diesel deliveries are received.
The crew facility is where it says on the google map "LIRR - Jamaica Yard and facility"




The train wash is located on track 6 in the "Advance Yard". The advance yard is numbered 1,2,4,5,6 North to South. Tracks 1-2 are for MofE (Maintenance of Equipment) department. Tracks 4-5 are shared between MofE and Transportation. They are referred to as the "Transfer Tracks", 4 Transfer and 5 Transfer respectively. Track 6 is used by transportation is and referred to as the "Wash Track".

South of the Advance Yard is the "Receiving Yard". That is numbered 1-8, South to North.
