It appears that the BNSF has an MP-15 engine #3700
It appears that the BNSF has an SD-70 engine #3700
I observed the latter today heading WW @ MP 18 Chicago Sub
Of interest, this engine looked freshly shopped and SHARP.
So is BNSF renumbering their SD-70 engines? Possibly the MP-15 has been retired, but even if so, wouldn't BNSF wish to keep their SD-70's with the name numbers?
Enquiring mind is "perplexed"?
