I am wondering if there are any plans to have WiFi on Septa Regional Rail in the near future. Providing this service enhancement would be a great way to help bring riders back.

Would people really use it?

Metra offers it, and has for the last five years or so. It's not what I'd call reliable and not every train or car had coverage.

More often than not, I'd wind up tethering my laptop to my phone via USB or using the phone's hotspot capability for my tablet...

I agree, it would be great benefit. Bike racks and luggage racks would be great too.
