Here's the B724 of Sunday 2/28/21 at S Meadow St & Rte 62 crossing Lancaster with 13 cars if I remember correctly - loaded centerbeams for Bestway and the gons for United Material Management

Any more boxcar traffic on the line or have the box plants gone to truck?

NewCorr in Northborough still receives frequent loaded boxcars. Mass Container in Marlborough receives occasional box cars - not as often as they used to - a lot of that traffic went to trucks

I think that is correct that there are no boxcar customers north of Clinton. At one time, Best Way shipped out finished pressure treated lumber in boxcars. They extended the siding a few years ago and built a loading ramp for boxcars. It has been a long time since I have seen a boxcar on that siding.

I was in Leominster today. Teknor Apex had two tanks and three covered hoppers at their plant. The siding rails had some shine so it looks like they recently got cars. The C&D facility had several loads read to ship out. I would say they will get picked up today.

So from Clinton north I think there are 3 active customers: bestway in Lancaster, teknor in Leominster, and the c&d guys. Would like to see transload return to Leominster yard

Today (Monday's) B724 has five box cars (I assume all are for NewCorr in Northborough (I'll check Mass Container tomorrow to see if any are spotted there).

Does anyone know when B725 usually operates? Hard to read the ship csx service schedules.

Does L010 still do the framingham turn on Fridays? Last times I’ve haven’t seen it at all there, but at readville I do. What’s up with that?
