Last I heard 1060 was the last one to leave at it’s former rebuild site which I believe is next to return followed by 1065. Not completely sure but I saw earlier posts indicating that. Unsure of what their status is at the moment. Someone please confirm when something is on it’s way back. I also heard that 1056 and 1062 are no longer going to be massdot units which basically means no blue paint for them. The roster also took down them as massdot units. Just the 4 gp40’s are.

Nothing out of Erie as of this afternoon. The 1053/1056 might go out Sunday night from Middleboro as they are now waybill reported.

The 1060 was shipped out of Boise on a flatcar. The 1031 was the last completed unit from Boise. The 1035 was last unit shipped out from Boise
on its own wheels, but sent to Erie for completion.

1053 & 1056 are in Worcester off of B72202. Q42703 will most likely pick them up tonight tp go to Selkirk. I wonder when 1065 will make its way back, MPI has 13 of our F40s!

If it’s going to middleboro then yes it is next to get sent out. I wonder if it’s going to go solo or if 1070 will go with it? Yes I know it’s listed as for work service but still wondering.

Forgive me if this has been litigated already, but are there emissions improvements associated with these upgrades? Metra's F40s now run at Tier 0+ thanks to microprocessor control, and their PHM variants run at Tier 2.

MBTA's units are (being) rebuilt to tier 0+ specification.

Lots of news came out yesterday. 1033 and 1070 will be the next F40s to get sent west. 1057 was doubleheading with 2032 in revenue service, and 1074 was on a test set in Rochester.

Nothing released from Erie as of this morning, but the 1053 & 1056 arrived there 3/08.
1033 still in Middleboro. 1070 has not been sent to Middleboro as yet.

Yup 1057 is in service southside. Not sure what’s going on with 1074 since last I heard they were fixing teething issues at bet. I would have thought that it would have gone into service before 1057. Anyways what set is it doubleheading with 2032 on? 1070 has been removed from work service.

1070 to Middleboro today. The 1063 is with it, though I wonder if its headed to Rochester for tweaking since its been overhauled already.
