Wash Train

Saw short consist on Fitchburg line at Church Street crossing in Weston at 1:35 pm today (Wed-21-Oct), heading in
(i.e. towards Boston). Unfortunately, I saw its lights as I was crossing the tracks, so I watched it in my rear view
mirror at the stop sign at Rt 117.

Engine, tank car, flat car with stuff on it, possibly another car?, rear engine.

Could this be the track cleaning consist?

Power Wash train. Only two cars - the tank car and the flat car (which has the sprayers, portable motors, operator shack.

Here is a recent video of the Consist passing by Melrose.

Southside wash train is 1052 and 1062. I believe northside is 1053 and 1059.

1035 and 1053 are what are currently on the Wash Train on the northside.

Saw that on the Needham line, midday on a Sunday. 2 weekends ago?

You eithor clean off the leaf matter or slide on by the station stop because of the leaf matter.......

From the rumors I've heard, the power may be taken off the wash train to run plow trains tomorrow.
