I'm assuming FECI has a plenty wide ROW? And that Brightline can add a passing track without hard negotiation.

Tri-rail has zone fares and tap-on/tap-off with honor system / spot check, so no turnstyles / fare-control gates. With 5 separate platforms you need at least 10 elevators for ADA compliance (in case one goes out of service). If they had built island platforms they would only need 6 elevators. It's a stub end terminal station, so you don't need elevators for each platform, only for the station concourse.

Unless if Brightline will be operating Tri-Rail's Coastal Link instead of Tri-Rail itself.

So it would appear that this is the new name for a proposed Tri-Rail service over the FEC. The question concerning the drawing is will Tri-Rail order Chargers or is this just a quick redo of the existing Brightline scheme?
Miami-Dade’s Transportation Planning Organization Governing Board voted to select commuter rail as the preferred option for a mass-transit project on the Brightline tracks.
The rail plan for the Northeast Corridor was approved at a meeting last week, according to Miami Today.
Trains will run between MiamiCentral in downtown Miami to Aventura.
According to a Brightline investor presentation from January, seven likely stations have been identified:
- MiamiCentral (an existing intercity station)
- Wynwood 27th Street
- Design District 40th Street
- El Portal 79th Street
- North Miami 123rd Street
- FIU Biscayne 151st Street
- Aventura 196th Street (also a future intercity station)

Although I do feel that Brightline should focus their efforts on intercity routes rather than commuter service, this will definitely be interesting to see in service, based on their rolling stock, scheduling, branding, and direct competition with Tri-Rail. I'm not sure if this line will be shared with Tri-Rail since its along their proposed Coastal Link.
Brightline is moving forward with plans to build a commuter rail system from downtown Miami through Aventura and Broward.
In a report to investors released on Friday, the company said it sold the commuter rail access rights in Miami-Dade and Broward for $245 million.
The buyer was an affiliate of Brightline. The commuter rail rights run for 93 years, the company said.

Final plans are taking shape for a commuter train between downtown Miami and Aventura, with hopes for a station off 79th Street derailed — for now.
The administration of Mayor Daniella Levine Cava this week presented its working plan for the $682 million rail system to run on the track corridor already used by Brightline trains. Like Tri-Rail on the western side of Interstate 95, the new county-funded train system in the northeastern part of Miami-Dade would offer passengers a north-south route along U.S. 1, with trains leaving every 30 to 60 minutes.
