Info on routes in and out of Las Vegas?

I am looking for info on UP trains routes in and out of the Las Vegas valley.I am trying to find out where the train crews get recrewed outside the valley.How far do they go in one run, and about how many trains run in and out of Vegas. Are there any local jobs out there and about howe much work there is.

My understanding is that the crews change about a mile south of the Union Plaza Hotel in downtown Las Vegas.

Part of the trackage parrallels I-15 along the strip in Vegas.

Try looking at UP's web site for employment info or the local EDD office.

I would recommend you check out earth.google.com for Google Earth. It's free, and allows you to look at much better photos, than TerraServer, of the earth of the Las Vegas area.

Anyone else used this program?
