I don't know much about downtown New Haven, but If you don't want to build adequate parking, you should increase the parking price until you drive away some customers.

I think new Haven parking price is already high. West Haven in back of station usually have some parking available in week days. Drivers should just drive to West Haven instead. West Haven is major station too and vertually all mnr trains stop there.

Parking facilities are pretty ugly, but it is important to provide enough parking to meet demand. Can the government build a parking garage and cover all the costs at $18?
