Maine Eastern RR in the news

It has been 41 years since passenger trains operated on a regular basis between Brunswick and Rockland, but that is about to change. A rail revival will get under way in the midcoast Saturday when Maine Eastern Railroad begins offering excursion service four days a week.

What a wonderful sight, I watched it this past Saturday at brunswick, awesome sight, love the sound as it goes around the triangle for night storage.

Those engines are wonderful, the paint scheme is awesome. Looking forward to riding the line now.
