On the Canarsie line, next to east 105th on the west side, there is a seemingly abandoned spur next to a warehouse/industrial building. I'm wondering what that was used for and who operated it.

edit: Lotlines show it branching off from the Bay Ridge line near Linden Shops.

You can see the tracks crossing the sidewalks of Foster and Avenue D.

It looks to be an abandoned branch of the Bay Ridge Branch, probably to a factory near the E 105 St station. Not a part of the Canarsie Line.

May have been a siding off the Bay Ridge Branch,abandoned during the PC era,not sure if NY&A could reactivate that siding.

It was actually a relatively late addition - historic aerials reveal that it was constructed between 1966 and 1980.
