I received the following email letting me know the T updated the T-alerts.

Dear T-Alerts subscriber,
We’re excited to invite you to be one of the first people to try the all new T-Alerts Beta! https://tinyurl.com/all-new-T-Alerts-Beta
We rebuilt the system from the ground up, and took your feedback into consideration as we did it. For example, we know that the current system sends too many alerts—many of them not even relevant to your trips. With the new T-Alerts, all you have to do is tell us when, where, and how you travel, and you’ll only receive alerts relevant to you.

Sign up at beta.alerts.mbta.com, or learn more about it at mbta.com/about-t-alerts-beta
As an early user of the new system, your feedback is really important. Visit mbta.com/beta-alerts-feedback to tell us what you think!

Note: Signing up for T-Alerts Beta does not affect your current T-Alerts account. You may consider unsubscribing from the old system to prevent receiving duplicate alerts. https://tinyurl.com/yd8u4wq2
