From what I was told early this morning a NJT train hit the wall coming out of the tubes, can't hide this one

According to WNBC, both Amtrak and NJT deny that a derailment or collision took place. The disabled train (NJT 3224) got into the platform area somehow, and passengers disembarked normally, if a bit late.

According to NYC news, a SEPTA train overran at the 69th Street station in Philadelphia, just after midnight. Perhaps this is what is being referenced here?

I heard this on 1010 Wins this morning. Sounds like a move from a yard to track?

They said the loco derailed only, but access to tracks 1-5 was blocked from the west.

Tracks 1-4 are always blocked from the west by bedrock as they are stub end tracks.

No, they are blocked from the east - their access is from the west.

Duh! Thinking about travel direction and not compass direction.
