Back in 2001, I received some information on the old version of this forum, from a John C. Durant. This info pertains to an E-L truck I own and am restoring.

I have follow-up questions but have no idea if he is still with us, or if so what his screen name might be. Can anyone provide a contact, or forward my request and ask him to contact me?

Thanks!

Father, or son? The son is on Facebook, not sure about the father; I haven't heard anything from him in several years.

I'm guessing it would be the father. He told me back then that he had worked at EL's Work Equipment Shop in NJ from 1969 to 1975.

That's the father; just checked, and he is on Facebook (as John C Durant). He was also posting on Railfan.net forums, but not for years.

Glad to hear he is still with us! I'm not on Facebook nor the other forum so I'm still looking for a way to contact him. No reply yet from Charlie's efforts but he may be out of town or otherwise tied up.

Thank you!
