I got heavy into railroad photography a while back and have acces to the 1.0 MP camera that the school has. Do you guys have any tips on what i could do to make them better?

I personally will no use anything less thyen 2.8 MP...

But try, with a tripod, w/o a tripod, shutter speed for moving objects, slower shutter speed for none moving or slow objects.

The 1 Mb camera will be OK for email and websites, but better resolution is needed for larger prints and the like, or projection.

Give it a try.

I use a 2.1MP camera. Does just fine...

I use a Minolta 370, 35mm camera and Kodachrome 64 Slide Film. I just recently got the book Railway Photography by Brian Solomon and John Gruber, Its a great book and anyone into Rail photography should pick it up has plenty of tips to help keep things intresting.
