Because of the severe drought ,the Allegheny has revealed one of her secrets,the piers of the OB&W are clearly visible where the tracks crossed the river and headed up the mountain.I took these from West River road,across from the sewage plant around 14th st.I believe these were put in around 1878,with the tracks torn up before 1900,some little known and often hidden history.
