Princeton ticket more expensive

Why are the NYP-Princeton tickets the most expensive on the system? A NYP-Port Jervis ticket is less expensive, and so is a NYP-Trenton ticket.

Because poor people live in Trenton and rich people live in Princeton?? Milk 'em when you can.

I don't know why it would cost more from NYP to Princeton than Trenton. A trip on the dinky is $3 while a trip from Princeton Junction to Trenton is $5. And I don't know where you're getting your Port Jervis fares from, from New York to Port Jervis is $22.75 and $17.75 from New York to Princeton.

Perhaps because the additional cost of running the Dinky needs to be recovered. It's not just the distance, it's a separate system.
